Cape Cod residents and visitors can relax and enjoy a seasonal Afternoon Tea at the Captain Farris House, a beautifully restored, historic B&B. The tea service includes three tiers of delectable savories and sweets, scones with clotted cream, savory finger sandwiches and bite-size desserts served with fine tea. By reservation only: November - May; Thursdays - Sundays at 11am and 2pm.

The Captain Farris House offers many amenities not offered by lodging options near us. As a historic 10 room bed and breakfast we have luxurious rooms, en-suite baths, some with gas fireplaces. Many guests rave about our 600 count linen, plush towels and robes to make them feel pampered and contribute to a restful evening. Guests receive a freshly prepared home-cooked breakfast each morning, catered to dietary needs. Coffee, tea and refreshments are available all day and, as an added treat, every day freshly baked cookies or sweets welcome guests as they return from a day of exploring the Cape.

The Captain Farris House is conveniently located near many Cape Cod attractions. Beach lovers can travel 5 minutes to the Nantucket Sound beaches; 10 minutes to Cape Cod Bay beaches and 30 minutes to the Atlantic Ocean to explore the National Seashore. Walk across the Bass River (.5 mi) to go kayaking or paddle boarding. Drive 10 minutes to rent bikes and enjoy biking the Cape Cod Rail Trail. Cultural enthusiasts can walk across the street to The Cultural Center or take a short drive to many art galleries, museums (Ed Gorey House, Whydah Pirate Museum, JFK Museum, just to name a few). The Melody Tent and the Cape Cod Playhouse are also a short drive away if guests want to catch a concert or a play.

Depends on what your looking for. .. 134 plaza isnt far.. Or the mall in hyannis 10-20 min away depending on traffic. But there is nice little shops, restaurants, convenience stores, gas coffee, liquor, boat rides jet ski rentals, mini golf, etc. Great location to get any where on mid cape area...
